On Sunday 7 September Sampad will be inviting people of all ages to have a go at being a My Route History Detective, as part of the University of Birmingham’s Think Corner: Pop up Shop.
Swing by to the Pavilions in the city centre between 11am and 5pm to learn about the research that our PhD students have been undertaking for community heritage project My Route, and have a go at solving some of the everyday mysteries they have faced as part of this research.
From interviewing local characters to solving puzzles, you can watch the stories about the people and places from the last 70 years come to life in this dynamic and family friendly workshop.
My Route History Detectives is part of a three week public engagement scheme by the University of Birmingham. For more information about other events happening as part of this scheme please visit http://thinkpe.wordpress.com/think-corner-roll-up-roll-up-for-the-research-pop-up-shop/.
